Autograph letters signed from William Charles Macready to his sons' headmasters [manuscript], 1845-1847.

(1) Dated August 8 , 1845 to Mr. King; Regarding his son, William. (2) Dated February 17, 1847 to unidentified; Macready is pleased with the good reports of his son Edward that he has received. (3) Dated June 4, 1847 to Mr. Hogg; Macready states that he is "truly obliged to you for your kind care and attention to my son...but it will perhaps be best for him to begin his half-year at a public school."
